About Us

Welcome to Northwest Book Fair

Sponsored by 501c KXRW.FM in Vancouver, Washington

July 19, 2025  marks the date for our third book fair.

Each year the event has continued to grow, bringing new authors and new book lovers to meet, greet and share engaging conversations.

For the first two years, Covington Historic House was the sponsor of this event for which I am truly grateful. They continue to be active supporters of the event.

But as the event grows the location and space for the fair needed to expand.

This year it will be held only a few minutes from downtown Vancouver and adjacent to the Fort Vancouver National Historic site in the Vancouver Barracks area.

We are super excited that the Artillery Barracks built in 1904 is where the book fair will be this year. It has a large convention space for authors and gift vendors.

Plenty of room to shop, mingle and browse the large number of Northwest authors and crafters.

It is more than just a book event

It’s a time to connect with local readers and authors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Books for Children

From simple turn the page picture books to action-packed adventures for middle school readers.

Nonfiction Books

Look for ghostly walks and unexplained mysteries. Spiritual and Physical Self-help and don't miss the new Vancouver and Clark County local guidebook.

Mystery

For mystery addicts here are a few new choices to delight and solve.

Historical

Explore the Northwest by local historians

Science Fiction & Fantasy

Anything can happen between these pages so dial up your imagination and get ready for mystical, magical surprises.

Cookbooks

This year we have a new entry! Cookbooks! All locally authored by cooks and chefs and more of the Northwest.

For those who start their Holiday Shopping in the summer this is a great opportunity to purchase a local book, get it signed and have plenty of time to wrap it for gift giving. And of course book gifting is something that can be done for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, start of the school year, and simply to share as a “I’m thinking of you” gift.
