We are still looking into this but there are nearby cafes and restaurants.

Absolutely! Many authors will be at their booths and happy to sign books and chat. Plus each author will have a bio page that you can check out on this website, where you can see the books they have published and behind the scenes information to make your visit more enjoyable.

A bit more . . .

2025 is the third year of the Vancouver Book Fair. It was originally called the Northwest Book Fun in the Sun event but was changed because the weather did not cooperate with our expectations in 2024.

Weather does this rather frequently so we decided it would be easier for us to change than expect the weather to. Much as we would appreciate a bit more cooperation from that score.

The location has also been changed from the Covington Historic House (oldest residence in Washington state) to the Artillery Barracks (historic site) at Fort Vancouver. The change was made as the fair has continued to grow each year needing a bigger and more accessible location.
