About the Northwest Book & Media Fest

Founded and directed by Patty Grasher

The Northwest Book & Media Fest celebrates stories, creativity, and community across the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 2022 by Vancouver author and radio host Patty Grasher, the Fest connects authors, podcasters, and media creators with readers of all ages.

Now entering its fourth year, the Fest continues to grow—bringing together over 90 exhibitors for a full day of workshops, author signings, and live storytelling at Clark College’s Student Center.

In 2025, the Fest partnered with KXRW 99.9 FM Vancouver, the city’s independent community radio station, to expand its reach and celebrate even more Northwest storytellers.

“When I started the festival, my dream was to give authors and readers a space to meet face-to-face — to celebrate stories, ideas, and the people behind them.”
